Okay, and we are in another year and season! Wow, that is wild! Time sure is a funny thing.
My birthday is next week, and I am hoping to make it to 59 (or fifty-fine). Of course, I would like to go well past that, but one step/day at a time. The only reason this worries me is because my Uncle Ray died when he was 58. Here’s hoping. We never know, though.
I have noticed that this golf journal has been more of a way of writing about what is happening in our lives. I have always started each entry with an update on that topic, and that is one of the cooler things about it. I will, of course, continue to do that.
Wayne Gerry died this past week. It was a shock. I feel terrible for Elaine, Meghan, and Kelcie, of course. Elaine lost her husband, and the girls lost their father. Wives should only have one husband, and I know sons and daughters only have one biological father. They went on many adventures together, and Eric and Amanda went camping with them many times. Heck, we were scheduled to go camping with them at City of Rocks next month. No-one knows the day nor the hour. Sigh.
That is one of the many reasons I will continue to do this journal.
