     Well, it's been a long time coming, but I finally did it.  Without further ado, here is a brief summary of every birdie and eagle that I have ever earned since I started playing golf, including totals for each year...

We go to state in volleyball!  We beat Farmington in districts with a match Belinda considers our state championship, getting sweet justice from our loss to them before.

We lose to Los Lunas at state, placing 10th out of the 12 teams.  10th out of the entire states is incredibly respectable!  James gets a ticket for running a red light and breaks out his two front teeth ice skating in Durango.  Ouch!

That ends Golf Diary-Part 12.  At the end of this diary, I play in the Club Championship, but after a miserable score and a damaged knee, I withdraw before the second day begins.  I have the shanks, but Don Greenwood helps me figure out what’s wrong at his workshop.  Also, the golf course closes due to lower membership numbers, among other things.  The journal ends when C.J. and I go out and play one last time, possibly for the last time ever at Hidden Valley.

Aztec has its worst storm ever since we’ve lived here and beyond, a hurricane-like flooding type of storm.  The golf course is forced to close until it can be cleaned up.  I help clean the debris off the greens.
